  • Bespoke training program 

    • Tobyn will review your cycling background and fitness level. Working around your everyday commitments and lifestyle, he will deliver a bespoke programme, specific to your goals and targets. This will include establishing your training zones and periodic tests to assess fitness levels.

  • Unlimited contact

    • Tobyn believes that communication is one of the most important parts of coaching, this is why he encourages regular communication.  A happy bike rider is a good bike rider!

  • Strength and condition program

    • Cycling specific strength and conditioning program along with easy to follow video library of each specific exercise. This was designed by a forward thinking strength coach, who has raced at an international level.

  • Unlimited plan changes

    • Because something always crops up, whether that be work, home life or illness etc, Your plan may need changing to suit. Tobyn is available to accommodate these changes.

  • Training Peaks account

    • A Training Peaks (basic) account not only gives you access to your training program (either on a web browser or a handy mobile app), but also allows Tobyn to constantly evaluate your training, and change your plan if necessary. If you are not already a member, Tobyn will setup the account up for you and talk you through how it works.

  • Analysis & feedback

    • Tobyn will analyse your training and race files through Training Peaks. Along with your feedback provided, he is able to advise or change your program as and when needed.

  • Tactical and race/ ride craft advice

    • Tobyn is available to talk through pre race/ event tactics. Not every rider, race or event is the same and he is on hand to talk through the different/ best ways to approach a particular race or event.

  • Daily email of that day’s training/ session to be completed

    • You’ll receive a daily email of the training session due to be completed. Your program is always available on the Training Peaks platform.

  • No minimum contract or sign up fee


What happens?

  1. Get in touch with Tobyn through the contact link above/ below or by emailing hortoncycling@outlook.com  
    He will then get back to you to organise an initial conversation at a time convenient for you.

  2. Tobyn will then send out a questionnaire, to find out more about you, your health and lifestyle, to then start working on a plan/ program suited to you.

  3. Tobyn will ask you to sign and return a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire) form, before coaching begins.
