A little bit about Tobyn…

Tobyn Horton, originally from the small Island of Guernsey in the Channel Islands, began his career in cycling over 14 years ago.

Basing himself in Belgium in 2005 for 5 years as an amateur and winning numerous races, Tobyn then successfully raced professionally for 9 years, spending the last 6 years racing at continental level, for a British-based road cycling team, Madison Genesis.

Tobyn has raced internationally and during his time with Madison Genesis, he raced in the well renowned Tour de Yorkshire three times and years before Tour of Britain.

Winner of the Channel Islands Sports Personality of the Year in 2013 and nominee in 2014, Tobyn’s key achievements include:

  • 1st place in Canary Wharf Tour Series,

  • 1st place in London Nocturne

  • 1st place in Ilkley GP

  • 6th place at Tour of Britain Final Stage 2011

  • 7th place at Commonwealth Games at Gold coast in 2018

  • 8th place in the Prudential Ride London in 2017
